About Me
This is more about you than me. What are your challenges right now? I can probably relate. I have fought with diet culture, stress, poor body image, weight, health scares, mental health challenges, and income loss - just as you may have or may be currently. Life can be complicated, and I am here to help.
I don't accept insurance for some of my services because I want you to see me on your terms, not determined by your doctor or your insurance company. Let's talk before you try another diet, go see another doctor, or take another drug. Give me the chance to fill you with hope and teach you how to make better food choices that will improve your quality of life. Don't get lost on the internet or fall for the lies spread on social media by people who only want your money.
I believe so deeply in the healing potential of food that I left a stable career in finance for it. It is equal parts magic and science, and I want you to have access to that. I genuinely care about you and your struggles, and look forward to meeting you.

My Philosophy
If you think of your body as a vehicle for your soul, consider the fuel you put in it. I want you to think about food differently - not just the complex interactions of biology, chemistry, and mechanics, but the simple enjoyment of sensory feedback when eating, and a larger curiosity about where your food comes from and all that you can do with it. I am not culinary trained - I can and do make a lot of mistakes in the kitchen while I learn to cook new recipes, and I celebrate those failures because they often lead to new understanding. I will challenge you to try new things and be curious alongside me.
I hold a few core beliefs about nutrition, which influence my practice a great deal. If we meet, you will hear them again......
Your body is smarter than your brain and knows what it needs - it is trying to keep you alive, after all. It will talk to you, if you learn to listen to it. Don't wait until it starts screaming at you.
Eat more plants. Condiments and supplements/vitamins don't count.
Diets are dumb and don't work long-term. You can't outrun your fork either, so don't exhaust yourself with exercise (unless you're into that sorta thing.) Walking and eating well works wonders.
Accept your body right now, as-is, and work forward. You can't change what has been done, but you can change how you continue.
